General Terms and Conditions for Online Goods Orders
By placing an order with us through our website, you are accepting these Terms and Conditions. Please read these Terms and Conditions before placing an order. At your request, we shall send you a copy of these Terms and Conditions via email.
Your Account
The use of certain services on the website requires the user to have established a user account (“Account”). There is no charge to establish or maintain an Account, and an Account is not required to make a purchase from the website. In order to establish an account, you must:

  • Provide us with your name, a valid e-mail address, and such other information as we may require from time to time; and
  • Create a password.

Our use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password(s) and for restricting access to your computer, and for all activities that occur under your Account or password. We will not be liable for any loss that you may incur as a result of someone else using your Account or password, either with or without your knowledge. You agree to be responsible for losses incurred by us or another party due to someone else using your Account and/or password either with or without your knowledge. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your Account and/or password(s) and any other breach of security relating to the website. You agree that any information you provide to us will be current, accurate and complete and that you will keep such information up to date by notifying us of any changes.

We reserve the right to terminate any Account at any time in our sole discretion, including without limitation for any fraud or abuse, or any misrepresentation that you or anyone using your Account may make to us.
Placing an Order
Your order placed on this website is an offer to Kiama Distribution to buy the product(s) in your order. When you place an order to purchase a product on this website, we will send you a message acknowledging the receipt of your order for the product(s) (“Order Receipt”). This Order Receipt does not signify our acceptance of your offer to buy the product(s) ordered. We reserve the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your offer to buy the product(s) ordered. Your offer to buy the product(s) ordered is considered accepted and thus conclude the contract of sale for the product(s) ordered, when you receive a message from us that we are shipping your ordered product(s) with your order tracking number.

When placing an order, you will be asked to supply certain information, including but not limited to your name, address, credit card or other payment information. You agree that all information that you provide to us will be accurate, complete and current. All orders placed are subject to additional credit verification. We may also require additional verifications or information before shipping any order.

We will charge your credit card when the product(s) you ordered is shipped. Credit card orders shipped to a location other than your billing address may require additional verification. You agree to pay all charges incurred by you or any other user of your Account and/or any credit card or other payment mechanism issued to you as used in this website, including without limitation any applicable handling and processing charges, if any, relating to any order placed on this site.

We can only sell products to individuals of legal age who can purchase with a permitted payment method. If you are not of legal age, you may only use this website with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

You are permitted to place an order for products in this website only for personal use and not for resale. We may in our discretion refuse and/or cancel any order that we believe may lead to the resale of products.

We make no promise that products described on the website are always available. Given the popularity of some products, we reserve the right to limit the quantities of items that can be purchased.

Please fill in the necessary information at checkout page such as the shipping information, the billing information, and the shipping method. Please check the summary of the products to be ordered, and the subtotal amount to be paid. Please read the Selvedge Grooming’s Terms and Conditions, and then click on the check box if you agree to these Terms and Conditions. When the products in the summary are in order, please click “Order Now”. You will then be directed to pay.nl for payments procedure. Please follow the instructions on the page and fill in the required payment information.
Cancelling an order before the product has been shipped
If you change your mind after placing an order, you can cancel by sending us an email within 24 hours. You will need to give us your name and address details, as well as your order number to cancel your order. We may request you to provide additional information to cancel your order.

If you choose to cancel the order, all payments that we have received will be refunded to you in the form of payment used for the purchase. The amount refunded will be the total purchase price paid by you. Credits will be issued after we process your cancellation instruction. Please allow time for the credit card issuer to credit the amount to your account. Your credit card company determines when the credit will be reflected in your statement. It may take one full billing cycle for the credit to appear on your account.
Right of Withdrawal
You are also entitled to withdraw from the contract of sale of product(s) ordered from this website for any reason within 14 days from the date when the products are received by you or by a third party who signed for the receipt of the ordered products for you. This cooling-off period expires 14 days after you received the product(s) or a third party signed for the receipt of the ordered product(s) for you. If this period expires on a non-working day, your deadline is extended until the next working day.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must unequivocally inform us of your decision in writing within the cooling-off period by sending us an email at returns@selvedgegrooming.com that you wish to withdraw, together with a filled up withdrawal form.

We will provide you with instructions on how to return the ordered product(s) to us.

The products must be sent to us within 14 days from our receipt of your email informing us of your decision to withdraw. You will have to bear the direct costs of returning the products to us. We will refund all payments received from you for the product(s) ordered and will also reimburse delivery charges for the least expensive type of delivery offered by us.

Refund will be given to you within 14 days from our receipt of the returned product(s) or from when you have demonstrated and proved that you have returned the products, whichever is the earlier. The refund will be given in the same form of payment you used for the purchase of the product(s) returned.

The Right of Withdrawal does not apply to:
1. Products that have been opened and have lost/damaged its original packaging.
2. Products that have been used.
3. Sealed products where sealing has been removed after delivery.
4. Products that for reasons of health and safety are not suitable for return.
5. Products where the expiry date is fast approaching.
Pricing and Availability
We make every effort to provide you the most accurate information on pricing and availability of products. However, some of the items on our website may be no longer be available or may be incorrectly priced at the moment you place your order. All prices and availability of products are subject to change without notice, until you receive a message that your order is accepted and is being shipped.

In the event a product is at an incorrect price at the moment you placed your order, we have the right not to accept your offer to buy and cancel your order for that product. If an item’s correct price is lower than our stated price, we will charge you the lower amount and ship you the item. If an item’s correct price is higher than the stated price at the moment you place your order, we will cancel your order and notify you of the price error and order cancellation. You will, of course, have an opportunity to purchase the item at the correct price, if you so wish.

If an item you have placed an order for is no longer available, we will notify you of the same by email and we will cancel your order for that item.

Note that if your items are to be shipped outside of the EU, your jurisdiction may charge you customs duties or other local importation taxes. These duties and taxes are for your account.
Product Descriptions
We make every effort to provide you with accurate descriptions of the products as possible. However, we do not warrant that the product descriptions or other content of this website are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. All features, content, specifications, sizes and prices of products and services described or depicted on the website are subject to change at any time without notice. Certain weights, measures and similar descriptions may be approximate and are provided for convenience only. Packaging may vary from that shown. We cannot guarantee that the product(s) is suitable for other than normal use.

If a product you received is not as what is described, you can return it to us unopened and in its original packaging and ask us for a replacement or, where replacement is not possible or convenient, a refund. If a replacement is not possible and a refund is requested, please fill up the Right of Withdrawal form and send the filled up form to us first via email immediately, but no later than 14 days from the date when the products are received by you or by a third party who signed for the receipt of the ordered products for you. Please send to us the unopened product in its original packaging together with a copy of the filled up Right of Withdrawal form no later than 14 days from the date when you informed us of your decision to request for a refund. Shipping Policy
We strive to ship your order as quickly as possible. However, our shipping estimates are not guarantees or promises that a product will ship on a specific day or be received by you within a specific period. The amount of time it takes for you to receive a product will depend on how long it takes us to process your order and how long it takes the carrier to deliver the order to you once it is shipped. Normally, the product will be delivered to you within 30 days unless specifically agreed on a different delivery time. Shipping charges are based upon the shipment option you select at Checkout.

Sorry, we are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes. All items must be shipped to a valid street address.

Please note that when ordering from this website, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the products. Please be aware that that cross-border deliveries are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.

Store Credit
Store Credit is a form of virtual currency issued by our Website. It can only be used towards the purchase of our products, excluding gift wrap, at www.selvedgegrooming.com. To use the Store Credit, the minimum purchase amount, after discounts from promotional codes and excluding shipping charges, is €10 (Ten Euros). Store Credit has no monetary value and is not redeemable for cash. Store Credit can only be used on orders associated with your original account, thus it cannot be transferred to another person or account. Store Credit may be accumulated. Your use of Store Credit constitutes acceptance of these terms and other terms and conditions that govern this Website.

You must create a Selvedge Grooming Account and log in to your account when you make a purchase. For every Euro spent on our products, excluding gift wrap, we will credit 10% of the total amount into your account 30 days following the transaction date. However, certain items are excluded from calculating the Store Credit to be credited to your account, including but not limited to order adjustments, cancelled orders, returns, shipping charges or discounts from promotional codes. Purchase amounts that exceed the value of the Store Credit will require an additional method of payment for the balance due.
Referral Programme
The Referral Programme allows registered users to earn store credit towards future purchases of our products at www.selvedgegrooming.com by referring friends. Participation in the Referral Programme is prohibited where void by applicable law or regulation.

If you, who must be a registered user on our Website, choose to participate in our Referral Programme to tell a friend about our Website, we will ask you for your friend's email address. We will automatically send your friend an email inviting him or her to visit and create a valid account on our Website that complies with our terms of use. Upon successful registration, the referred friend will be credited with €5 (Five Euros) worth of Store Credit. You, as the first referring friend of the referred friend, will also be credited with €10 (Ten Euros) worth of Store Credit 30 days after your referred friend purchases product from our Website. Store Credit terms and conditions apply.

Referrals should only be used for personal and non-commercial purposes, and only shared with personal connections that will appreciate receiving these invitations. Referral should not be published or distributed where there is no reasonable basis for believing that all or most of the recipients are personal friends (such as coupon websites, Reddit, Wikipedia, etc.).

Multiple referrals are allowed. However, you cannot refer yourself. A referred friend can only receive the reward, €5 (Five Euros) worth of Store Credit, once. And a referring friend will receive the reward, €10 (Ten Euros) worth of Store Credit, only once from the same referred friend.



We may modify the Referral Programme and/or its terms and conditions from time to time in its sole discretion, with or without notice, and your continued participation in the Referral Programme after such modification shall be deemed to be your acceptance of any such modification. It is your responsibility to check the terms and conditions on the Website regularly to determine whether the Referral Programme or its terms and conditions have been modified. If you do not agree to any modification, you must immediately stop participating in the Referral Programme.
Complaints
If you received a defective or damaged product from us, or a wrong product was shipped to you, please inform us in writing via email at returns@selvedgegrooming.com as soon as possible (but no later than 14 days from your receipt of the product) and indicate your order number. We will organise for you to have a replacement.

To obtain a replacement, you must have purchased the product from us through our website and the subject product must be returned to us, unopened and in its original packaging, with all accessories. We cannot accept products back that have been opened or used, unless the returned product is needed to prove a defect or damage. We will send you your replacement within 14 days from our receipt of the returned products.

If it is not possible or convenient to have a replacement, you can decide to return the product to us and ask for a refund as described in our Return Procedures. Your decision to return the products must be made within 14 days from your receipt of the product. Please see Right of Withdrawal.

For complaints of any other nature, please send us an email at info@selvedgegrooming.com as soon as possible. We shall reply within a period of 14 days from the date of our receipt of your complaint. We shall strive to resolve your complaint through joint consultation and within 3 months from the date we received your complaint.

If the complaint is not resolved, the dispute may be submitted to Stichting Webship Keurmerk for mediation. Should mediation not lead to the desired result, the dispute can be submitted to the SGW Webshop Disputes Committee [Geschillencommissie Webshop van de SGC (www.sgc.nl)].
Return Policy
You must have purchased the item from us through our website. It is not enough to just send the products back; you must first inform us in writing via email at returns@selvedgegrooming.com that you are returning the product to us together with a filled up Right of Withdrawal form and your order number. We will provide you with instructions on how to return the products to us.

To obtain a refund for your returned product, the returned product must be unopened and in its original packaging, with all accessories. We cannot accept product back that has been opened or used. Please see Right of Withdrawal.

Refund will be given to you within 14 days from our receipt of the returned product(s) or until you have demonstrated and proved that you have returned the products, whichever is the earlier. The refund will be given in the same form of payment you used for the purchase of the product(s) returned.
Return Procedures
  • Please fill in the Right of Withdrawal Form and send the filled in form to us with your order number via email at returns@selvedgegrooming.com, within 14 days from the date when the products are received by you or by a third party who signed for the receipt of the ordered products for you.
  • Please wait for our acknowledgement email. We will provide you with a return label and details of the return address, which you will be required to print and affix to the package (if eligible).
  • Securely pack the product you are returning together with a copy of the filled in Right of Withdrawal form and include a copy of your original packing slip in an appropriately sized box.
  • Affix the shipping label on the package to be returned.
  • After we receive, inspect and process your return, a refund will be given to you within 14 days from our receipt of the returned product(s) or from when you have demonstrated and proved that you have returned the products, whichever is the earlier.
  • Affix the shipping label on the package to be returned.
  • The refund will be given in the same form of payment you used for the purchase of the product(s) returned.
Our Liability
We will not be responsible for (i) losses that were not caused by any breach on our part, or (ii) any business loss (including loss of profits, revenue, contracts, anticipated savings, data, goodwill or wasted expenditure), or (iii) any indirect or consequential losses that were not foreseeable to both you and us when the contract for the sale of products by us to you was formed. Nothing in these conditions limits or excludes our responsibility for fraudulent representations made by us or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or wilful misconduct.

We will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause which is beyond our reasonable control. This condition does not affect your right to have the products sent to you within a reasonable time. If the delay occurs before the products are dispatched, we will not charge you for the products until they are dispatched.

The laws of some countries do not allow some or all of the limitations described above. If these laws apply to you, some or all of the above limitations may not apply to you and you might have additional rights.
Trademark and Intellectual Property
SELVEDGE GROOMING and Device is a trademark owned by Codaa Switzerland AG and is used in this website by Kiama Distribution with permission. All content in this website such as but not limited to marks, images, graphics, logos, texts, videos, audio clips, among others are protected intellectual property. You may not copy, extract, download, or otherwise use any part of the contents in this website without our express written consent.
Applicable Law
Your use of the website shall be governed in all respects by the laws of The Netherlands, without regard to choice of law provisions. The application of the United Nations Convention of Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is expressly excluded. We both agree that jurisdiction over and venue in any legal proceeding directly or indirectly arising out of or relating to this website shall be in The Netherlands or courts located in Rotterdam.

Accessing this website from territories where its contents are unlawful is prohibited. It is your responsibility to ascertain and obey all applicable laws and regulations with respect to the sale, possession and use of any product(s) ordered via this website in your territory.
Modification of these Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to modify this website, Terms and Conditions or other policies set forth on the website from time to time. You will be subject to the Terms and Conditions and policies in force at the time that you order the products from us, unless any change to the Terms and Conditions or policies is required by law or government authority.

It is your responsibility to regularly review these Terms and Conditions. Your use of the website following the posting of an updated Terms and Conditions constitutes your acceptance of such updated version.
Severability
If any part of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, void or unenforceable, that shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions.
Waiver
If you breach these Terms and Conditions and we take no action, we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach these Terms and Conditions.
